remember the 8 hands reaching in the opening? What if derek reaching out towards her is significant because she’s one of those 8 hands… but forgot?
Well then, sex is gonna be awkward… lol
Hey doll! :D You know what? I think you make a good point, Derek has issues trusting people. And I agree he might still not believe she’s back for real. But still, suggesting to kill her was extreme when her rabid condition was going to last literally hours.
And let’s take Peter for example. Derek still listens to him. Peter has power over Derek, always has. Because no matter how hard it is for Derek to trust, he’s starving for family. So even if Cora’s return seems fishy, I don’t see him “pushing” her away. I assume he’d want answers.
We’ll see what happens next episode. I can’t wait to see their reunition. I need hugs to happen or I’ll die inside. lol

apparently she’s a ‘survivor’… ;D wouldn’t be surprised if she had prior contact with things that go bump in the night

I don’t see any basis for it, but after that scene it seems annoyingly convoluted enough to be a reasonable guess, I think.
Well, being a ‘survivor’ could mean many different things. I agree that her actions so far are leading to believe something else is going on that we don’t know yet. Many people think she’s an alpha, or involved in the human sacrifices. But what if she’s arrived to Beacon Hill to help fight these things? What if she’s some kind of Deaton? That could lead to Derek and her knowing each, for sure.
Completely unrelated and random but I’m still bumped about her not being a Hale. She does look so much like one, it’s ridiculous. Forever pressed, tbh. lol
It didn’t look like they recognized each other to me, but I’ve seen other people suggesting this so I’m publishing the ask to see what you guys think. :)
I think it means they only add actors on the IMDB page as the episodes air. I think she was onset towards the end of the shooting. But she also tweeted something about a farewell gift from the twins, and then deleted it. So we’ll see what happens. :)
Obviously, it’s harder to sell the relationship to us Sterek shippers, but keeping Sterek aside (I didn’t mention them on purpose, because I believe both topics have nothing to do with each other), their encounter was problematic in itself, and that was my complain.
I knew Derek had a love interest this season, I knew it was Ms Blake, I was ready for it. That was not the issue, but the way the show portrayed them.
About Sterek, though. I’m thinking of writing another post, because last night’s events don’t mean things are over for Sterek, and it’s always nice to spread some positivity. :)

LET ME BRAID YOUR HAIR
Kelsey let me just…

I’m going to talk about Derek and his character development so far in season 3. And also about Ms Blake.
Will post tonight, probably! It’s getting a big longer since it turned into an unexpected Derek Hale essay, lol.
I’m writing a long post about this. But meanwhile, all I’m going to say is this: I don’t ship Derek/Ms Blake. I don’t hate Ms Blake, though. I don’t hate the ship, either. I respect if people ship them. They just don’t work for me, and I’m writing exactly why, so everyone can read and decide on their own.
There is a new resurgence of doubt and disappointment in the fandom so I figured I could type up a small essay on why I think Sterek would be good in all sorts of ways: for the show, for the characters, for the world in general.
This is a year older but still applies. And after the events in last night’s episode, I think it’s a good idea to bring it back.
