Jeff Davis on Stiles’ bisexuality
Say whatever you want, I think he answered this very gracefully. You can tell he cares. I don’t think he had bi!Stiles in mind for S3 but who knows what he may do after this…
revelations about fandom, Teen Wolf edition:
1. People really need to stop apologizing for Sterek. I mean seriously stop. They know we want it, we know they know we want it, just like don’t harass them about it, as long as you don’t do that everything is good imo! (I swear everyone who asked a question today apologized for Sterek) (It was a bit embarrassing)
2. Tyler Posey: Super ditzy, super adorable, his face looks like the troll meme when he smiles.
3. Jeff Davis was amazing. Literally said the awesomest things on the panel. My favorite line was “Please don’t go online and accuse me of Queer Baiting” and I felt bad because aww poor thing.
4. Teen Wolf fans are pretty awesome and a lot of them are super young it’s crazy. I felt so old. BUT everyone loved my Stiles hoodie so everything was good.
5. This is old news by now, but like another great thing Jeff said was about Hoechlin having trouble getting into his pants. That was hilarious.

I’m so sick and tired of fandom’s homophobic treatment of slash ships. This is like using slashwink as something positive. You need to stop doing that. Apologizing for all the Sterek questions is not okay, I don’t even know where to start.

yeah maybe idk it’s difficult to tell really. i mean the whole sterek campaign is still happening so who knows what he’ll think after their recent cookie thing.
The Sterek Campaign is not there to convince him of anything, but I hope it makes him realize how many people would support him if he decided to make Sterek canon, at least. :/

It seems Jeff isn’t really savvy about what is the fandom’s consensus about a lot of things. For example, in today’s ustream, he was genuinely gleeful to make a connection with stiles’ red hoodie with “red riding hood” like he just realized it. wtf.
yeah basically. apparently he seemed pretty surprised at how many people boo’d at stiles/lydia but cheered when he said he was giving them platonic development.and it’s really fucking scary though because Jeff is open to fans right, we all know this, and for him to not realize that the majority DOESN’T want Stydia?? Like it makes me think that we really aren’t being active enough on twitter because I mean he was like really surprised?? Like he really thought that all of us were at least okay with it happening and then he was like ‘wtf why are none of you happy’
basically it’s making me think that he’s not experiencing the larger part of the fandom and thinks we want sterek yeah but also will be okay with stydia happening
This makes no sense, though. He reads us. He knows what we say. He even said once he reads everything.
So how could he be surprised about this?
I think he’s become very wary when it comes to talking about Sterek because of the fans’ reaction. In the past, he’s said things about them that got him in trouble without reason. Fandom reacts very strongly to everything he says.
Take for example this NYCC panel. We haven’t seen the video yet and there are already people convinced he doesn’t want to make them canon, and people convinced he does.
No matter what he says, he won’t please everyone. I think he’s trying to be cautious. First reports made it all sound very positive, last post’s general tone was very negative and pessimistic. At first fans were euphoric. Now they are sad.

i wonder if the mystery girl we saw in the first page of 301 will by the new gay character, and she becomes bros with everyone, meanwhile there’s still an unknown fifth alpha but surely it can’t be that bad because we know who the big bad leader alpha is and––
PLOT TWIST NEW GIRL IS THE FIFTH ALPHA AND SHE’S ACTUALLY THE REAL LEADER AND SHE’S CONNED EVERYONE and wow pls
Here’s hoping that the new gay character is actually the mystery girl and the reason she knows so much about the werewolves is because she and the other alpha- fingers crossed it’s another female- are together. Only the two of them are planning to take control over the Alpha pack.
