I will always trust Jeff Davis. I admire him and his work.
Fandom is just reacting to what we have so far, which is very little, and that’s fine! But I believe that if we give him time, he will deliver something outstanding. I’m not saying we should silence our complains, because (right now) they make sense, but just… you know, let’s be patient, give the show time before we make any final decision.
I love all your messages, you bring very good points. I’m publishing this one because for me it’s the most interesting.
The thing is that, when narrative is contrived to the point that you need a side explanation for it to make sense, you have a problem. Maybe you’re right, and he needed confirmation that his efforts were worth it, so to speak. But there was nothing in the episode indicating that. We can assume all we want, there are many valid explanations of why he did what he did, but in the end, what the episode told us was that he went to check on the teacher because *cheesy music and romance*.
That being said, I still trust Jeff Davis and what he’s doing. This season just started, and we know beginnings are hard. He has very limited time to show us his vision. That’s hard. As a writer I can see how problematic that can be, especially when you have a large fanbase and everyone is expecting different things while you have your own idea of where the show is going.
Hey doll! :D You know what? I think you make a good point, Derek has issues trusting people. And I agree he might still not believe she’s back for real. But still, suggesting to kill her was extreme when her rabid condition was going to last literally hours.
And let’s take Peter for example. Derek still listens to him. Peter has power over Derek, always has. Because no matter how hard it is for Derek to trust, he’s starving for family. So even if Cora’s return seems fishy, I don’t see him “pushing” her away. I assume he’d want answers.
We’ll see what happens next episode. I can’t wait to see their reunition. I need hugs to happen or I’ll die inside. lol
It didn’t look like they recognized each other to me, but I’ve seen other people suggesting this so I’m publishing the ask to see what you guys think. :)
I think it means they only add actors on the IMDB page as the episodes air. I think she was onset towards the end of the shooting. But she also tweeted something about a farewell gift from the twins, and then deleted it. So we’ll see what happens. :)
Obviously, it’s harder to sell the relationship to us Sterek shippers, but keeping Sterek aside (I didn’t mention them on purpose, because I believe both topics have nothing to do with each other), their encounter was problematic in itself, and that was my complain.
I knew Derek had a love interest this season, I knew it was Ms Blake, I was ready for it. That was not the issue, but the way the show portrayed them.
About Sterek, though. I’m thinking of writing another post, because last night’s events don’t mean things are over for Sterek, and it’s always nice to spread some positivity. :)

LET ME BRAID YOUR HAIR
Will post tonight, probably! It’s getting a big longer since it turned into an unexpected Derek Hale essay, lol.

THIS HAPPENED RIGHT AFTER WE BECAME FRIENDS. COINCIDENCE? I DON’T THINK SO.

I just love to see everyone to excited and happy about the possibility of a “profound scene” between Derek and Stiles, tbh.

This is so amazing!! Thank you so much for telling me. Will you please take photos and share with us all? :D

Oh my god, you thought it was porn? HOW THO? LOL
But anyway. Lydia After Dark is Holland Roden in front of a webcam, answering questions from a chat. Sometimes she brings other cast members. And it’s always hilarious. You shouldn’t miss it! :D
This was my theory though. I think that Cora might not be able to be trusted, because Jeff Davis is a sadist and likes to see Derek suffer.
I mean, we are all dreading this will be the case, yes. But one thing is the fandom speculating and another is an MTV blog to give all the spoilers away? I don’t know, this is weird.
